To work in green construction you learn quickly that much of your time is spent educating potential clients about what technology is available, what it does, why it costs more than traditional products, why it's worth the added costs and what the payback period is likely to be. After all that, you have either an educated consumer, or maybe a paying customer. It's a lot of work to educate everyone that calls looking for information. And for the consumers, it's a lot of work to learn about all of their options and what's the best for them. It wasn't too long before determining a solution that would better serve both sides of this issue. One where consumers can be educated, and the other where pros can find and offer products to educated consumers. If there were 1 place people could go to learn about the technology that's available, and the features and benefits, and the pros and products available to them, then this is it.
